The Challenge

Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) analysis utilizing Headspace-Gas Chromatography (HS-GC) represents one of the most common analyses in Forensic Toxicology. Laboratories must run hundreds of samples per day. In order to achieve this level of throughput, the instrumentation supporting the analysis must have a high sample capacity, the ability to run unattended, and must be capable of confidently storing and classifying results.

The Solution

The Dani BAC system allows for 120 samples of unattended analysis with unlimited priority vials, the highest capacity available on the market. Clarity Software provides full control of the sampler and the GC. The BAC system can be equipped with a barcode reader to ensure traceability and storage of samples and data. Finally, the BAC System comes in two pre-configured options: the traditional dual-column and dual FID configuration or the dual-column FID-MS detector for an added level of confirmation.
